Maldives · every resort
Maldives family photographer.
Children run, grandparents sit, the light goes gold — I work around the family rather than posing it.
The session is an hour and a quarter of the day's softest light. We start on the beach, move through the shallows, and end on the jetty or the sandbank at blue hour. I direct lightly — where to stand, when to walk — and let the rest happen.
Every photograph on this page was made on a Maldivian resort island by me, and every island has its own page with the transfer, the travel fee and what the light does there. Sessions from US$320; a sneak peek in 24 hours and the gallery in 48.
Family shoots.
Where.
Islands with published family work first, then the resorts I photograph most.
Questions.
How much does Maldives family photography cost?
Sessions start at US$320 for 20–40 minutes and US$550–1,250 for about two hours; the travel fee to your island is quoted on its own line.
Which resort is best for family photography in the Maldives?
Any of them — the light is the same country-wide. I have published family work from Jumeirah Olhahali Island, LUX* South Ari Atoll, Dusit Thani Maldives, Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort, Villa Nautica, Paradise Island and others. Smaller islands give emptier beaches; larger ones more variety in an hour. Tell me where you are staying and I will say honestly what works there.
When should we book?
As soon as your resort is confirmed. I hold a date for five days after quoting, and peak weeks (December to March) fill two to three months ahead. I reply within six hours, 07:00–22:00 Maldives time.
How long until we see the photographs?
A sneak peek within 24 hours, the full edited gallery within 48 — usually before you fly home.
